To Register and attend the Action Generation Service Summit and Count Me In! Service Opportunity Fair on Saturday, September 27th, 2008, please visit the United Way Volunteer Solutions website to pick your service project for the day.
The Action Generation Service Summit is inviting the San Antonio community to SERVE! This one time event is a chance for San Antonians to make a difference in the community and find out how to continue to make an impact all year long. The service projects are open to participants ages 14+. The “Count Me In” Service Fair and other afternoon events are open to all ages. Here is a brief overview of the day's activities:
7:30-8:15: Arrive at UTSA Downtown Campus; check in for the day; FREE BREAKFAST!
8:15-8:45: Welcome & Keynote
8:45-8:50: Load Busses
9:00-12:00: Service Projects!! PLEASE SIGN UP FOR ONE. (Transportation to project site provided!)
12:00-1:00: Arrive back at UTSA for a FREE LUNCH!
12:30-3:30: “Count Me In!” Service Opportunities Fair
3:00-5:00: Radio DJ, LIVE Concert by Dog Men Poets & Kessler
5:00: Summit closing
